National Rollingstock Services was formed in 2005 with a primary focus of providing mobile rollingstock services to the Rail industry.

In a time of skills shortages, NRS is able to provide experienced tradesmen and maintainers to rail companies to offset labour shortages as workloads increase.

Whether it be unscheduled maintainence, repairs or derailment / recovery work, we have the ability to achieve the desired results without affecting normal staffing levels in depots.

Call outs and off site work is not a problem as NRS has mobile maintenance vehicles with staff accredited to work in both Westnet and ARTC territories.

Pressure vessel maintainence is a specialty, with staff qualified in AS1210 welding, confined space entry / rescue and working at heights.

Environmental restitution work is available to deal with spills and contamination in terminals, depots and on track.
